  • Overview

    The System Analyst - Hotels role will work within the Hard Rock IT department at the worldwide headquarters in Hollywood, FL.  The System Analyst - Hotels is responsible for but not limited to the support, maintenance and implementation of applications specific to our hotels around the world.


    • Contributes to system design, development and testing of hotel applications and interfaces required by the organization.  
    • Perform tuning and maintenace of hotel applications and interfaces (such as Micros Opera).
    • Assists with implementations of new applications, upgrades and patches to existing applications.
    • Develop technical documentation in a clear and concise manner.
    • Delivers timely resolution to break/fix items, change control, and system updates.
    • Anticipate user requirements and makes adjustments to applications as needed.
    • Listens to and supports end users by understanding their business objectives and required outcome.
    • Ensure adequate training documentation is correct and available for all end users of applications.


    • University degree in Computer Science or Business Administration required; OR, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
    • Experience working with all parties including staff and customers to resolve problems.
    • 3-4 years Property Management Systems (PMS) application support experience, Micros Opera preferred.
    • 3-4 years of progressive, relevant hospitality IT experience.
    • 3-4 years of experience in Hotel applications required. Systems of interest include but are not limited to Micros POS, Delphi Sales and Catering, HotSos quality management, etc.
