Responsibilities include providing daily operational support and playing a key role in the improvement & enhancement of warehouse and distribution to café logistics operations. Further duties require managing vendor shipment movements through supply chain to ensure our pre-negotiated freight forwarders are utilized consistently and accurately.


  • Plans, directs, and administers all aspects of company third party warehouse facilities
    1. Third Party Warehouse Relationship Management.
    2. Communicate/schedule café needs to third party warehouses, including carrier transportation schedules (in absence of transportation manager)
    3. Including requisitioning, receiving, storing, stocking, and distributing a wide variety of materials and supplies. 
    4. Oversees the enforcement of all warehouse procedures and practices. 
    5. Reports on activities to Vice President of Merchandise. 
    6. Interacts with third party warehouse department managers and assigned account employees
    7. Conducts meetings / conference calls with third party warehouses management as needed
    8. Schedules annual visits to each third party warehouse facility


  • Ensures that all inventory items are properly identified and readily accessible, enabling order processing
    1. Support and manage third party warehouses operational and technical needs


  • Maintains computerized records of inventory
    1. Reconciles inventory discrepancies to include
      • Audit bins
      • Reconciliation reports
      • Cycle Count program and shrink
      • Reports weekly receipt information for company allocation teams
      • Coordinates inventory write off and destruction of product


  • Monitors warehouse storage, labor and supply lines


  • Reviews product inventory flow by analyzing and developing logistics plans


  • Works with purchasing, monitoring in-bound purchase orders ship by, delivery and cancel dates
    1. Advises purchasing team (s) and Vice President of Merchandise of late and monthly receipt projections


  • Partner with I.T. integration teams to assure system are in sync, supporting company field operations, Maintaining EDI / SQL user integrity
  • Meets with third party freight carriers and distribution centers supporting global operations of company and franchise locations
  • Maintains vendor compliance manual relating to freight and distribution center needs
    1. Meets with new merchandise vendors and freight carriers, reviews vendor compliance requirements Provides vendor feed back
    2. Assuring Vendor questions are replied to promptly
  • Prepares reports for staff meeting, presents data to senior management
    1. Provides input to management of process and cost
  • Evaluates bids, select suppliers, negotiate price and delivery


  • Support all HRC Café and Corp Accounts.
  • Sound communication skills between 3PL’s HRC Cafés and other corporate staff.



  • 5-10 years progressive experience.
  • College Degree Preferred.
  • Strong communications and organization skills.
  • Detail oriented.
