Overview

Supports the SVP of Merchandise and the Merchandise Team and is responsible for execution of product set-ups as well as issuing all purchase orders to vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Full working knowledge of MI9 Inventory Management System.
  • Purchase Order Creation
  • Creates Purchase Orders within 24 hr. turn around time with Vendor confirmation by E-mail.
  • Authorize PO’s.
  • Maintains/Revises PO's (Ship Dates, Cost/Retail, Quantities and Revisions) as needed.
  • Coordinates with Finance Letters of Credit, Wire Transfers and Check Requests pertaining to Purchase Orders.
  • Develops, maintains & regularly purges all PO's, vendor and files.
  • Accurate and timely communication to vendors for all purchase orders.
  • Creates Purchase Orders in Radius for other departments in the organization.
  • New vendors set up (assign the vendor #).
  • Operations correspondence, vendor information, files, purchase orders, and outgoing and incoming documentation is available and maintained in an orderly file system.
  • Coordinate Hierarchy maintenance in MI9 with IT.
  • Set up all new styles after Merchant approval.
  • Coordinates all merchandise donation requests for the office.
  • Incoming and Outgoing correspondence are sent according to deadlines and a printed confirmation is received.
  • Ensures that information pertaining to suppliers, operations, distribution centers and home office is gathered from vendors.
  • Coordinates with other department admins on all special/dept-related corporate initiatives (when needed).
  • Review and turn in Merchandise Team’s Expense reports.
  • Organizing Vendor/Team meetings (set up, locations, materials needed).
  • Support SVP of Merchandise and the Merchandise Team as needed.
  • Organize and coordinate Sample Sales.

  • Ability to move throughout the Corporate Headquarters (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, and loud/noisy environment.
