Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Adheres to the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Policies and Procedures.                                                                              
  • Under the supervision of the Payroll Manager, the incumbent’s role will participate in the payroll process and include the following activities:
  • Reconcile time and attendance systems.
  • Reconcile various types of income including tips.
  • Complete payroll tax forms 941 and annual W2’s.
  • Prepare journal entries to General Ledger.
  • Prepares bank reconciliations.
  • Prepares detailed account analysis and reconciliations.
  • Ability to comprehend written or verbal basic instructions.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate record maintenance.
  • Ability to use basic computer software applications such as Excel spreadsheets and word processing as well as become proficient with department-specific computer programs.
  • Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
  • Must possess ability to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida’s policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Must possess ability to comprehend written or verbal basic instructions.

Qualifications

Bachelor in Accounting as well as two (2) or more years of accounting and computerized payroll experience.
