Overview

The Manager of Digital & Revenue will play a key role in the development of digital strategies and tactics designed to drive system traffic, revenue generation and growth for the global portfolio of Hard Rock Cafes. This position will be responsible for working with a cross functional team encompassing Cafe Sales & Marketing, Operations, Training, and Finance. The Manager of Digital & Revenue will be responsible for creating a strong digital media platform (websites, display media, search, social media, etc.) from which to communicate with our new, returning, and lapsed customers. He/she will ensure the best digital consumer strategy is developed and executed against to drive top line revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Design, manage and implement internet marketing programs including paid search engine marketing (SEM) and organic optimization (SEO)
  • Manage the social media advertising placement and budgets for all corporate owned Cafes in North America and Europe including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Identifying and implementing strategies for increasing Cafe website traffic & conversion to dining reservations
  • Assisting in the update and layout of individual Cafe web pages as needed
  • Analyzing website strategies and translating qualitative or anecdotal data into recommendations and tactics for revising the strategies
  • Researching and updating of keywords using Google Adwords while working hand in hand with outside agency
  • Use site metrics tools to track site traffic, performance, dining reservation conversion, and page views
  • Apply new technology, media, interactive research and emerging standards related to internet marketing and digital media
  • Build and manage credit card partner solutions targeted at new, lapsed, and returning customer through such efforts as direct mail and direct to consumer digital offers
  • Real-time, location-based social media customer engagement through the HYP3R platform
  • Prepare reporting for all internal stakeholders including audience insights, key performance metrics and program results across all digital marketing initiatives

Qualifications

The Manager of Digital & Revenue must be a self-starter, creative thinker with the ability to multi-task effectively and prioritize accordingly. He/she is the subject-matter expert and will have intimate familiarity with digital strategy. Additionally, he/she should possess:

  • 4-6 years of performance-based online marketing/digital media experience, with extensive knowledge of industry trends and technologies
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Information Science, Math, or Computer Science
  • Operational and strategic experience across all major online marketing channels (Email, PPC/SEO, Display, Affiliate, Remarketing, Paid Social)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with online tracking and analytics tools (Google Analytics)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge and experience with ROAS, ROI, CTR and additional top KPIs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively present, explain, negotiate and monitor projects and tasks
  • Understanding of customer experience and online customer conversion
  • Must be an expert in Paid Social, possessing both strategic and hands-on capabilities; he/she must excel at both audience segmentation and ad creation of various formats within the Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Highly regiment and detail oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Able to perform independently and as part of the team; be both hands-on and a high-level strategic thinker
