  • Overview

    The Manager of Brand Content will be responsible for the strategy, direction, and day-to-day support of Hard Rock Cafe content marketing efforts on social platforms. This position will be responsible for leading Cafe social support, manage digital content creation/strategy, calendar, social community, engagement, influencers, reputation, and copywriting of all brand social accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. He/she will provide leadership and support of our global social marketing efforts/programs for Hard Rock Cafes. This position will work closely with external agencies and internal teams.

    Responsibilities

    • Creates comprehensive and integrated digital marketing strategies on multiple social media channels that grow and engage the Hard Rock audience and lead to successful conversion goals.
    • Develops complex re-targeting and paid media campaigns and executes the day-to-day management.
    • Collaborates with other marketing team members to integrate social media campaigns into other marketing efforts.
    • Serves as the project manager for social media and digital marketing programs, ensuring that plan deliverables, as well as the overall campaign, are created on time and on budget.
    • Performs audits of social media efforts to determine past performance and set benchmarks for future efforts.
    • Collaborates with design and content teams to develop creative concepts and campaigns that attract and engage.
    • Establishes and manages social media calendar, library and tool to communicate results.
    • Measures and reports performance of social and digital marketing campaigns, and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs)
    • Identifies trends and insights, and optimizes spend and performance based on the insights.
    • Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple digital channels and customer touch points.
    • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies and campaign ideas
      • Develop and manage monthly brand and Cafe calendar for Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
      • Copywriter for all campaign and evergreen content
      • Coordinate across all departments for priority content production
      • Assist in selecting and managing third party content agencies and partners for tentpole campaigns and evergreen content
      • Monitoring and selecting user generated content to enrich brand and Cafe feeds

     

    • Moderation, Conversion, and Engagement

      • Moderate and listen on the brand Cafe channels
      • Identify opportunities for conversion and engagement
      • Coordination with Customer Care team for service recovery
    • Management of account strategy and innovation
      • Accounts: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google Business, Pinterest, Tumblr, Periscope. Facebook Live, Snapchat
      • Monitor and evaluate emerging platforms

     

    • Cafes Snapchat strategies and content calendar
      • Assist in launching and creating the brand strategy for Cafe on Snapchat.
      • Manage content, geofilters at applicable properties and account content
      • Collaborate with Snapchat ambassador employees for content coordination
    • Manage relationship between HRI and social agency partners for Cafes
      • Monthly content ideation, curation and review
      • Assist in managing content for activations
      • Monthly ad recommendations
      • Influencer marketing strategy
    • Influencer marketing strategy
      • Assist in selection and vetting of quarterly social media influencers
      • Manage strategy and cadence
      • Coordinate with agency and properties for opportunities and optimization
    • Ads Management
      • Campaign budgeting and targeted ads coordination
      • Managing invoicing in coordination with cafe marketing team
    • Provide Social Media Field Support
      • Develop Social Media Toolkits for field use for campaigns and tentpole programs
      • Ongoing tech support for field
      • Manage relationship between brand and platform Account Managers as needed

    Qualifications

    The Manager of Brand Content will have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience. He/she must have exceptional storytelling, brand voice, brand writing and social marketing skills with proven ability to develop compelling content. This role will be the subject matter expert and have knowledge of global and relevant local social platforms, social publishing tools, listening tools and paid social budgeting and buying. Additionally, he/she must possess:

    • 3 - 5+ years experience in social media, marketing and communications
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field.
    • Proven history of successfully managing social media campaigns
    • Well-developed experience developing social media presence for company on a variety of platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
    • Ability to identify and capitalize on trends, cultural moments, human insights and proven experience of operating autonomously.
    • Experience reporting performance of social and digital marketing campaigns, and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
    • Must possess high sense of urgency, with the ability to work within tight deadlines, manage multiple projects, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong presentation skills and confident, effective communicator.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
