The Manager of Brand Marketing for Hard Rock Cafe will report to the Director of Restaurant Marketing.


The Manager of Brand Marketing will provide day to day support of the corporate and field level sales and marketing teams in managing advertising and activation programs. This position manages all proprietary traffic and visual asset inventory and access across the brand. He/she will promote seamless cross-functional alignment of brand, merchandise/retail, memorabilia, e-commerce, and music initiatives and programs, ensuring they are delivered on-time and on-budget. This position will work closely with external agencies ensuring that HRC assets are protected and projects are assigned, approved, and delivered on time.


  • Manage new asset requests, new user setups, job trafficking, approvals process, timelines, and brand/legal asset rights and permissions for internal users, agencies and partners
  • Identify and manage production vendors including budgeting, pricing, timelines, invoicing, quality control and delivery
  • Coordinate across departments to build inspirational campaign content.
  • Work closely with all teams to develop highly engaging activation plans.
  • Review all creative assets to ensure campaign strategy is coming through appropriately
  • Develop clear, measureable KPIs for all tactics and actively manage against them as activated
  • Ensure timely launches of marketing initiatives through critical paths, production meetings, creative direction, etc.
  • Collaborate with others on marketing team to produce a “tool-kit” for activating tent-pole initiatives in the field.
  • Compile and analyze post brand campaign recommendations to seize market opportunities for Annual Marketing Plan
  • Ensure that the brand identity, positioning and campaign communications strategies are successfully executed and represented across consumer-facing touch points (including stores, e-commerce, email, social, events, and others), acting as hub of all cross-functional marketing disciplines
  • Continuously evaluate, manage and recommend process improvements for the effective development, management and distribution of brand assets that maintain HRI Quality Standards while meeting budget and deadline goals
  • Provide oversight and day-to-day management of Digital Asset Management System including photography, logos, ad templates, video, digital, archival and memorabilia content.


The Brand Marketing Manager must be a self-starter, data-driven, creative thinker with the ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize accordingly, and collaborate with internal and external business partners. He/she will have intimate familiarity with all aspects of marketing. Additionally, he/she should possess:

  • 3 – 5 years of marketing experience, including 2+ years developing and managing brand assets from conception to execution with a global hospitality, entertainment, restaurant, or related company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or Marketing from an accredited institution.
  • Working knowledge of managing creative assets and file formats for print, digital and video content
  • Understanding of Workforce project software or similar software management systems.
  • Experience ingesting, tagging, and providing administration rights with a cloud-based digital asset management system.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively present, explain, negotiate and monitor projects and tasks
  • Demonstrate the ability to set priorities, organize time, demonstrate initiative, and work independently.
  • Must possess high sense of urgency, with the ability to work within tight deadlines, manage multiple projects, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Able to perform independently and as part of the team; be both hands-on and a high level strategic thinker
  • Multiple language abilities preferred, fluency in English required.
