Overview

The Manager of Brand Marketing will help drive strategic development and execution of all brand marketing campaign efforts across all Cafe properties. This position will be responsible for leading the conception, development and implementation of marketing initiatives, campaigns, and promotional programs to drive business globally and reinforce brand equity. He/she will drive seamless cross-functional alignment of brand, merchandise/retail, memorabilia, e-commerce, and music initiatives and programs, ensuring they are delivered on-time and on-budget. This position will work closely with external agencies and internal Sales & Marketing Operations, Digital/Social/Online, CRM, Merchandise, Finance, IT and others.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the brand identity, positioning and campaign communications strategies are successfully executed and represented across consumer-facing touch points (including stores, e-commerce, email, social, events, and others), acting as hub of all cross-functional marketing disciplines
  • Draft tactical briefs and deliver briefing presentations to engage partners on execution of marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate across departments to build inspirational campaign content across social, digital, print, and all mediums etc.
  • Lead program/campaign development including, concept, creative photoshoot, production, and execution
  • Work closely with all teams to develop highly engaging activation plans.
  • Review all creative assets to ensure campaign strategy is coming through appropriately
  • Develop clear, measureable KPIs for all tactics and actively manage against them as activated
  • Audit brand initiatives and present to Marketing and Brand leadership, including C-level management
  • Ensure timely launches of marketing initiatives through critical paths, production meetings, creative direction, etc.
  • Collaborate with others on marketing team to produce a “tool-kit” for activating tent-pole initiatives in the field.
  • Make reasonable recommendations to improve potential for brand marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and foster corporate partnerships that further brand awareness and drive traffic to cafes and hotels worldwide.
  • Coordinate on-going research of the industry to detect market trends and related information for development of new marketing programs
  • Compile and analyze post brand campaign recommendations to seize market opportunities for Annual Marketing Plan
  • Communicate constantly with other company divisions and cafe locations to roll out brand marketing initiatives.
  • Organize and manage events to showcase the brand and highlight efforts surrounding brand marketing initiative.
  • Oversee communications to ensure consistency with brand voice.

Qualifications

The Manager of Brand Marketing must be a self-starter, data-driven, creative thinker with the ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize accordingly, and collaborate with internal and external business partners. He/she will have intimate familiarity with all aspects of marketing. Additionally, he/she should possess:

  • 3 – 5 years of marketing experience, including 2+ years managing brand campaigns from conception to execution with extensive knowledge of industry trends, and traditional and digital marketing
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Business, or Marketing from an accredited institution.
  • Charismatic personality with solid marketing and project management background.
  • Ability to travel internationally & domestically a minimum of 25%
  • Understanding of online marketing channels (Email, PPC/SEO, Display, Affiliate, Remarketing, Paid Social), customer experience, online tracking, and analytics tools (Google Analytics)
  • Experience with campaign development (creative photoshoot, production, implementation)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively present, explain, negotiate and monitor projects and tasks
  • Demonstrate the ability to set priorities, organize time, demonstrate initiative, and work independently.
  • Must possess high sense of urgency, with the ability to work within tight deadlines, manage multiple projects, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.

  • Strong presentation skills and confident, effective communicator.
  • Multiple language abilities preferred, fluency in English required.
