The Executive Assistant – Food & Beverage will support the VP of Food and Beverage and be responsible for a broad range of administrative and project-based duties. This position will require initiative, judgment, independent decision making, as well as the ability to take on and deliver important projects within the department. The professional in this position must project warmth and enthusiasm toward internal and external stakeholders. This person will be a proactive member of a 9-person food and beverage team by creating the organizational conduit for the team to be most effective and organized. High energy, multi-tasker with a passion for food and beverage is ideal.


Additional responsibilities will include:


  • This role requires attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests.
  • A high level of integrity and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important, as is a good sense of humor.
  • The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture.
  • The ideal candidate is able to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships.
  • Tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Schedule cost effective air/hotel/ground transportation · Create detailed travel itineraries; Complete and file expense reports
  • Support annual operational planning process, business planning, and performance review cycles
  • Serve as a business partner ensuring strategic, proactive and thoughtful support of the business cycle
  • Maintains calendar for the Department Head, regularly arranging for meetings, conferences, and appointments. Arranges hotel and travel accommodations.
  • Follows up on all assignments delegated to team members as to status, expected completion date, etc.
  • Takes on meaningful projects within food and beverage including but not limited to, menu management, purchasing logistics, food & beverage tastings, etc.


The Executive Assistant – Food & Beverage must be a self-starter, creative thinker with the ability to prioritize accordingly. Has the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, energetic environment with a fun, yet serious mindset that can create energy and excitement for all those around him/her. Comfortable working in the multi-unit environment, the ideal individual should possess:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with executives in a fast-paced environment ·
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Proven experience enabling executives and an organization to operate efficiently
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficient in quickly creating presentations in Powerpoint without constant oversight that deliver a meaningful message
  • Must have a proven track record of effectively managing a high volume of work
  • Strong organizational and people skills, the ability to effectively create and deliver presentations, the ability to set appropriate priorities and use time effectively.
  • Is self-motivated and enjoys motivating others around them to foster an environment of fun, creative energy with proven, actual results.
  • Utilizes time effectively to create organized presentations and platforms that are easy to communicate and can drive passion for brand throughout the organization.
  • Enjoys and celebrates a work environment that fosters creative thinking, innovative and rational risk taking.
  • Mature, confident, and successful professional with presence and professionalism to effectively represent the Hard Rock externally, and bring enhanced credibility to the organization.
