    Seminole Hard Rock Support Services provides Information Technology Services for Seminole Gaming and Hard Rock International and their subsidiaries and/or franchisees. 

     

    The Information Security Architect provides technical security assistance with the design, installation, operation, service and maintenance of a variety of information systems. The Information Security Architect understands IT Enterprise Architecture and works with the enterprise architecture teams to ensure that security standards are created and adopted into SHRSS Enterprise Architecture frameworks. This role identifies security gaps, develops controls, determines functional and non-functional security requirements and designs solutions that meet business objectives while complying with security standards to achieve Security-by-Design principles based on the needs of the business and organizational security requirements.

    Responsibilities

    The primary duties and responsibilities of the Information Security Architect follow:

     

    • Leads the development of a strategic security architecture vision, including standards and frameworks that are aligned with overall business strategy using the current technology roadmap
    • Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates
    • Plan, develop, implement and maintain enterprise security architecture and design security around projects that support IT, Commercial, Marketing and project teams
    • Coordinates with members of the IT and technology organization, as well as business, to plan, develop, implement and maintain compliance with Center for Internet Security (CIS) or other security configuration frameworks
    • Research, establish objectives, implement and document a foundation of securely designed infrastructure and software to support the business operations of the company
    • Review existing architecture, identify design gaps, and recommend security enhancements
    • Participate in solution architecture design; lead security efforts with the integration and initial implementation of technology solutions
    • Maintain knowledge and stay up-to-date regarding new security technologies and integrate new technologies into security architecture design when appropriate
    • Meet with project teams and other system architects to develop system designs and project plans that include the appropriate security controls and meet security standards.
    • Represent the cyber security team in change control activities and ensure proposed changes are in alignment with security best practices
    • Use project management processes and methodologies to ensure information security projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations
    • Responsible for writing formal security assessment reports for the network and prepares system security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends as needed
    • Works as part of a security incident response team as needed
    • Develops security metrics and measurement capability to demonstrate operational security posture
    • Performs other security team relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned

    • Experience managing project through the full system development lifecycle
    • Multiple language abilities preferred – fluency in English (written and spoken) required
    • Flexibility to travel as required up to 25% overnight travel
