    Seminole Hard Rock Support Services provides Information Technology Services for Seminole Gaming and Hard Rock International and their subsidiaries and/or franchisees. 



    The Vice President of IT Enterprise Architecture and Software Development links IT strategic investments with the business mission, strategy and processes.  The Vice President uses multiple architectural models to show how the short/long term needs of the organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, scalable and reusable manner.  The Vice President is responsible for leading and managing a fast paced, growing architecture and development organization charged with supporting and evolving all package and custom software solutions for Seminole Gaming and Hard Rock International businesses.  The Vice President is responsible for working with Application Portfolio teams to prioritize project requests, and ensure the team delivers functionally strong, sustainable solutions in a way that is attentive to cost, quality and speed.  He/she recommends and evolves architecture and software development tools and practices as needed to improve efficiency and effectiveness of team.


    • Experience leveraging a variety of frameworks and methods to develop and promote architecture.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application and system engineering.
    • Experience driving strategic alignment of Technology with the business, and creating a common architecture vision with Technology and line of business leaders.
    • Experience defining processes for Technology and Products governance.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop technology strategies that support Technology and business strategies.
    • Experience identifying, analyzing, and proposing Technology investment opportunities.
    • service-oriented architecture, product build and delivery experience, and deep knowledge of cloud technologies
    • Progressive experience developing, implementing and supporting software solutions from the ground up, end to end
    • Comprehensive knowledge of the software development policies, procedures, and practices:
      • Knowledge of end-to-end product life cycle from conception to delivery to ongoing operations
      • Knowledge of Software Programming concepts: Understands source code control and tools; has detailed knowledge of one or more programming languages; uses common development tools for required language, platform, database, middleware and environment
    • Executive presence, ability to interact with senior leaders and adapt style as needed for technical or non-technical audiences
    • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact professionally and build relationships with a diverse group of executives, managers, vendors and subject matter experts.
      • Ability to effectively communicate abstract concepts in verbal and written, and visual forms.
      • Ability to translate technical information into business language and concepts.
    • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with deep understanding of the business, excellent problem solving skills and sound judgement.
    • Established leader with proven track record in organizational management and rapid technical organization growth:
      • Experienced in hiring, developing, retaining and upgrading technical talent with a keen focus on appropriately leveraging contract labor to supplement resource ramp needs (up or down).
      • Strong commitment to teamwork, ability to work with direct and matrix resources from multiple cultural/ethnic backgrounds, across multiple locations and time zones.

    • Preferred programming experience: .NET Core & Web Services, C#, SQL.

    • Advanced program and project planning skills.  Working knowledge of Project Management and Testing tools (MS Project, JIRA, Selenium, SOAP UI tools desirable).
    • Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Development methodologies, and project management.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Outlook).



    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
    • Advanced degrees preferred.
    • 10+ years’ progressive software engineering and technology management experience with a minimum of 5+ years delivering technology solutions; developing designs and setting architecture strategy.
    • 5+ years’ experience successfully managing, leading and developing a team of technical professionals required.
    • 3+ years developing corporate policy and procedure in regards to solution architecture and software engineering/development. Advanced experience in an Enterprise Architecture capacity preferred. Experience leveraging a variety of frameworks and methods to develop and promote architecture.
    • Gaming and/or Hospitality industry experience preferred
