  • Responsibilities

    Under the direction of the General Manager of Gaming Operations, the Director of Poker Marketing is responsible for assisting in developing marketing strategies for all Seminole Poker Rooms & evaluating performance. Duties include:

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Develop and monitor strategic marketing plans, for short and long term growth.
    • Provide assistance & direction to each Poker Room.
    • Enhance poker revenue (Live & Tournaments) opportunities through marketing initiatives for all Seminole Poker Rooms.
    • Assist in the development & contribution of online gaming marketing for poker and gaming products to achieve successful objectives and generate profit.
    • Gain market share in local & outer markets.
    • Pursue & establish relationships with potential poker partners
      • marketing the poker brand
      • player outreach
    • Utilize social media platforms for marketing purposes.
    • Statistically analyze marketing programs, adjusts strategy and tactics, to increase effectiveness to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
    • Construct post-event reports, provide analysis, prepare regular status reports on marketing and promotional programs to property management & poker team
    • Coordinate & oversee activities such as Events, Promotions and Guest Service for all Poker Operations with property management to insure a consistency and successful implementation.


    Bachelor’s in a Business related field. Minimum 5 yrs. of marketing experience required; 3 yrs. of marketing experience in a Casino/Gaming environment highly preferred; 1 yr. poker exp. desirable. Ability to travel to all Seminole Gaming properties and outside the market a must.


    Additional Qualifications:

    • Knowledge or involvement in poker gaming from major markets along with poker tournaments
    • Familiarity with gaming compliance and regulations
    • Basic knowledge or understanding of online gaming, in all phases - product development, technical systems, gaming content, software solutions for player integrity & retention, internet security, etc.

    Work Environment:

    • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
